NEPSE Inches Up By 0.27% To Settle at 2,796.43 Level ; Turnover Stands at Rs. 4.74 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a modest gain today, inclining by 7.73 points (0.27%) to settle at 2,796.43. This comes after a minimal gain of 1.54 points in the previous trading session on April 24.


The benchmark index opened at 2795.21 and reached an intraday high of 2,806.96, while the day’s low stood at 2,789.22. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.74 Arba, with 10,928,617 shares traded across 351 companies through 81,006 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.69 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.87 Kharba.

 

Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 30.74 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 4,239.00.


In today’s trading session, three companies hit the positive circuit limit of 15%, including CORBL, PCIL and SIPD.


Meanwhile, Nifra Green Energy Debenture 6% - 2088/89 (NIFRAGED) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 14.01%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,032.00


Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing registered the highest gain, gaining 1.52%, while Trading Index recorded highest fall, falling by 1.39%.
