NEPSE in Correction Mode, Fell by 7.59 Points (0.52%) to Close at 1454.89 Levels; Total Turnover Rs 1.25 Arba

The market today closed at 1,454.89 levels, a 7.59 points, or 0.52% decline.

16.18 points volatility was witnessed in the trading today, wherein the highest level was 1466.04 and the lowest was 1449.86.

A total of 3,247,068 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1,259,751,557 in the turnover amount. 185 scrips were traded via 21,805 transactions.

The market was mostly in red today, gradually losing minimal points with only one noticeable uptick throughout the day. 

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest turnover of Rs. 10.35 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 566 per share. Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the second-highest turnover of Rs. 9.89 crores. Nepal Credit & Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) has the highest number of shares traded for the day among all companies.

Float index is down by 0.56 points and is currently at 102.20. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 305.67 after losing 1.64 points from the previous close.

Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MMFDB) and Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited (JOSHI) hit a positive circuit today closing at Rs. 874 and Rs. 60 LTP respectively. On the other hand, Pokhara Finance Limited (PFL) lost the most 5.03%.

Two sectors gained today while all others ended red. Mutual Fund gained the most 1.3% while Trading lost the most 1.98%.
