NEPSE halts the trading of Unilever Nepal; Violation of regulations lead to enquiry by NEPSE

The trading in the shares of Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) has been suspended by NEPSE.

NEPSE has suspended the trading of UNL following the enquiries to be made regarding its dividend announcement.

The company had announced 700% cash dividend for its shareholders. The notice about it was published in NEPSE on Bhadra 28 however, the decision was made on Jestha 12, 2075.

So, the stock exchange has asked the company to provide proper reasons for the violation of the regulations and the reason to avoid any kind of actions against the officials of the company within 24 hours.
