NEPSE goes green gaining 8.69 points to close at 1,188.40 points; Shareholders of Rairang Hydropower lost the most points again

Market closed today in green zone gaining 8.69 points to close at 1,188.40 points. The market which had started at 1,179.71 points gained 8.69 points during the 4 hours’ trading period. At its highest point, the index had reached 1,189.97 points which lowered by few points to close the day.

The market recorded turnover of Rs 25 crore which was generated through the total transaction of 8,33,891 unit shares. During the day, the total shares of 169 companies was traded through 3,940 transactions.

Chhimek Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (CCBL) stood ahead in terms of turnover as more than Rs 1.14 crore worth of shares were traded during the day. Similarly, the promoter shares of Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBLPO) stood ahead in terms of unit of shares exchanged as 49,687 unit shares were traded during the day.

The shareholders of Kisan Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KMFL) earned the most as the price of the stock increased by 91 points to close at Rs 1,602. Likewise, the shareholders of Rairang Hydropower Development Company Limited (RRHP) lost the most as the price of the share decreased by 18 points to close at Rs 165.

Both the sensitive and float index increased by 1.7 points and 0.71 points respectively.

Out of the sub-indices, Insurance sector gained 60.86 points which was followed by Hotels gaining 20.86 points.
