NEPSE Gains Subtly 10.43 Points to Close at 2,676.03 Levels; NRN Leads Turnover While Four Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 10.43 points (0.39% ) to settle at 2,676.03. This follows a 9.61 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2670.11, touching an intraday high of 2,678.29, while the lowest point was 2,658.12. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 6.66 Arba, with 14,693,807 shares traded across 333 companies through 86,170 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.93 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.24 Kharba.

 

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 40.17 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,515.20.

 

Four Companies led the gainer's list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Him Star Urja Company Limited (HIMSTAR) and First Micro Finance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FMDBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 7.78%.

 

Among sectors,Banking SubIndex registered the highest gain, gaining 1.49%, while the Finance Index saw the highest loss at 0.38%.
