NEPSE gains minimal 5.57 Points and Closes at 2,012.89; Turnover of Rs. 4.09 Arba Brings Volatility of 22.09 Points

The NEPSE index gained a minimal 5.57 points today and closed at 2,012.89. The index opened at 2,016.26. Overall volatility of 22.09 points was witnessed in today's trading session with the highest point being 2,031.47 and the lowest being 2,009.38.
8,001,314 shares traded hands via 37,916 transactions. Trading of 209 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.09 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 3.85 Arba. While the float index lost 0.27 points and closed at 137.45, the Sensitive index is at 382.44 after losing 0.13 points.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 53.01 crores. The shares of Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) traded the most.

Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) and Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) technically hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) lost the most 6%.

Four sectors gained while all others closed red. While Manufacturing/ Products gained the most 4%, Hydropower lost the most 1.18%.
