NEPSE Gains Minimal 19.29 Points, Investors Buy Into Hydropower As Sector Index Rises 3.22%

The NEPSE index closed at 2,891.33 today after gaining 19.29 points from yesterday's closing. This is a minimal gain of 0.67% on the index. The index had lost 14.48 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,875.74 and made the intraday low at 2,856.68. While it went as high as 2,896.47, it ultimately closed at 2,891.33.
223 scrips traded hands via 80,829 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 12,167,605 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 6.574 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.154 Arba.
National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 39.01 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 417.10 per share. Its shares were also traded the most.
Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) and Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) technical gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Nerude Laghubita Bikas Bank Limited (NLBBL) lost the highest 3.17%, hence closing at Rs. 1,220.
Four sectors have lost while nine others closed green. "Trading" lost the highest 0.53% and "Hydropower" gained the highest 3.22%.
