NEPSE Gains Minimal 1.13 Points from All-Time High Created Yesterday; Trading Session Ends on Indecisive Note

The NEPSE index gained a minimal 1.13 points today and closed at 2,658.74. This is the highest closing ever in the history of NEPSE. The index had created a new high just yesterday.

The index opened at 2,679.38 and shortly made the intraday high at 2,681.76. The index went as low as 2,639.92 but finally closed at 2,658.74.

15,853,993 shares traded hands via 73,598 transactions. The trading of 212 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.29 Arba.

While the float index lost 0.18 points and closed at 182.75, the Sensitive index is at 471.84 after gaining 1.09 points.

Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 34.75 crores. The units of Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1) traded the most.

The three highest gainers have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) lost the most 4.12%.

Six sectors have lost today while seven others closed green. "Investment" lost the most 0.84% and "Hotels and Tourism" gained the most 3.24%.
