NEPSE Gains Minimal 0.27 Points and Closes at 2,947.69; Three Scrips Hit 10% Positive Circuit Breaker

The NEPSE index closed at 2,947.69 today after gaining a minimal 0.27 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained 71.43 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,962.81 and made the intraday high at 2,984.28. While it went as low as 2,939.96, it ultimately closed at 2,947.69.

A total of 15,681,184 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 9.29 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 9.44 Arba. 226 scrips traded hands via 93,218 transactions.

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 61.93 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 704.90 per share. Its shares also traded the most.

A total of three scrips have hit the positive 10% circuit today. On the other side of things, Kalika Power Company Limited (KPCL) lost the most 6.47%.

Six others lost while seven others closed red. Non-Life Insurance gained the most 1.48% and Hydropower lost the most 2.54%.
