NEPSE Gains Minimal 0.14% to Close at 2,057.85; Seven Sectors Close Green Led by "Life Insurance"

The NEPSE index closed at 2,057.85 today after gaining 2.87 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.14%. The index had gained 1.81 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,054.99 and went intraday high at 2,073.54. Then the index made intraday low at 2,052.13 and ultimately closed at 2,057.85.

223 scrips traded hands via 33,657 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,678,705 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.526 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.333 Arba.

Arun Kabeli Power Ltd. (AKPL) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 16.96 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 483 per share.

Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) lost the highest 6.88% today.

Seven sector indices closed green, "Life Insurance" gained the highest 0.67% while "Trading" lost the highest 1.06%.
