Eight companies hit a positive circuit today (technically). They are Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC), NRN Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NLBSL), Reliance Life Insurance Limited (RLI), Union Hydropower Company Limited (UNHPL), Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC), Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Limited (AKJCL), Chhyangdi Hydropower Company Limited (CHL), and Barun Hydropower Company Limited (BARUN).

Interestingly, six of the eight highest gainers are hydropower companies. It seems that investors are attracted to the hydropower sector for a few days now.

Meanwhile, Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Share (RBCLPO) lost the most 8.17%.

Seven sectors lost today while five others ended green. Banking gained the most 1.21% while Non-Life Insurance lost the most 3.04%. This can be seen as profit-taking and a pullback in the non-life insurance sector given that the sector was rising heavily for the last few days.
