NEPSE Gains Massive 80.97 Points to Close at 2,973.70 Levels; Overall Turnover Stood at Rs. 20.08 Arba While Manufacturing Sector Led Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a significant gain today, gaining by an impressive 80.97 points (2.79%) to settle at 2,973.70. This follows a 21.76-point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,895.07, touching an intraday high of 2,975.77, while the lowest point was 2,894.48. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 20.08 Arba, with 43,581,228 shares traded across 319 companies through 177,101 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 49.62 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 16.92 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 71.88 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,552.00.

Trade Tower Limited (TTL) led the gainers' list with a 10.0% gain each.

Meanwhile, 11% L.B.B.L. Debenture 2089 (LBBLD89) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.94%.

Among sectors, the Manufacturing and Processing registered the highest gain, gaining 4.63%, while the Mutual Fund saw the least gain at 0.56%.
