NEPSE Gains Massive 74.93 Points and Closes at 2,037.64; Trading and Finance Sector rises most

The NEPSE index closed at 2,037.64 today after gaining 74.93 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 3.82%. The index had gained 41.39 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1966.85 which is also the intraday lowest. It then ultimately closed at intraday day high of 2,037.64.
227 scrips traded hands via 47,392 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 7,254,070 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.458 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 1.431 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.95 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 774. The shares of NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 (NMBHF1) traded the most.
Ten scrips gained highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Global IME Bank Limited Debenture 2086/87 (GBILD86/87) lost the highest 3.89% today.
All sector indices closed green, and “Trading" gained the highest 7.31% while "Banking" gained the lowest 2.2%.
