NEPSE Gains Massive 56.86 Points and Closes at 1,924.07; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 2.097 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,924.07 today after gaining 56.86 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 3.05%. The index lost 0.01 points last Thursday.

The index opened at 1,868.18 and made an intraday low of 1,866.37. It then ultimately closed at an intraday high of 1,924.07.

250 scrips traded hands via 38,553 transactions. A total of 5,653,053 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.097 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.119 Arba.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 20.88 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 900 per share.

Gurkhas Finance Ltd. (GUFL) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) lost the highest 5.56% today.

Only one sector closed red, "Others" lost 2.29% while "Finance" gained the highest by 6.52%.
