NEPSE Gains Indecisive 0.08 Points and Closes at 2,700.98, Turnover Declines to Rs. 3.684 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,700.98 today after gaining a minimal 0.08 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost a massive 100.67 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,697.37 today and made the intraday high at 2,728.13. While it went as low as 2,695.12, it ultimately closed at 2,700.98.
227 scrips traded hands via 49,882 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 7,549,779 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.684 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.977 Arba.
National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 54.91 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 431.70 per share. Its shares were also traded the most.
Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) gained the highest 8.13% and closed at Rs. 665.
Meanwhile, Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) has lost the highest 3.85% and closed at Rs. 575.
Seven sector indices gained minimally, five closed red and one saw no change.
