NEPSE gains Impressive 49.17 points and closes at 2,062.06; Market Turnover Gradually Reviving Since last few Sessions

The NEPSE index gained 49.17 points today and closed at 2,062.06. The index opened at 2,023.59 and gained gradually throughout the day. Overall volatility of 38.66 points was witnessed in today's trading session with the highest point being the market-close itself and the lowest being 2,023.4.

9,910,003 shares traded hands via 39,935 transactions. Trading of 208 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.44 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.09 Arba. While the float index gained 2.73 points and closed at 140.19, the Sensitive index is at 391.30 after gaining 8.86 points.

Shivam Cements Limited (SHIVM) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 34.44 crores. The shares of Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1) traded the most.

The top three gainers have technically hit a 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) lost the most and ultimately hit the 10% negative circuit.

Hotels and Development Banks lost today, with Hotels losing the most 1.01%. Trading gained the most 9.45%.
