NEPSE gains after three red days; Index up 5.4 points with Rs. 2.237 Arba turnover

The NEPSE index closed at 1,643.03 points today, gaining 5.4 points from yesterday's close. The index opened at 1,636.20 in the morning. Total volatility of 9.46 points was witnessed during market hours today, with the highest point being 1,644.61 and the lowest being 1,635.15.
7,757,353 shares traded hands via 29,606 transactions. 198 scrips traded to produce a total daily turnover of a little over Rs. 2.23 Arba.
The Float index gained 0.09 points and closed at 114.57 while the Sensitive index is at 326.60 after gaining 1.14 points.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 10.03 crores. The shares of the Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) traded the most today.
A total of four companies technically hit a 10% positive circuit today as of the market close. They are Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC), Summit Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFDB), Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL), and Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL).
Meanwhile, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) lost the most 2.55%, followed by Dibyashwari Hydropower Company Limited (DHPL) that lost 2.52%.
Development Banks lost 0.76% and Banking lost 0.17% today. Among other sectors that gained, Trading gained the most 4.8%.
