NEPSE Gains 8.34 Points in the Week's Last Trading Day; Total Intraday Turnover Curbed at Rs. 7.61 Arba

The NEPSE index gained 8.34 points today and closed at 2,475.26. The index opened at 2,479.60 and went on to make an intraday low at 2,443.68. It then rose and reached as high as 2,482.59. Nonetheless, the index finally closed at 2,475.26. Thus, the intraday volatility is 37.91 points.

18,719,489 shares traded hands via 72,170 transactions. The trading of 201 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.61 Arba. While the float index gained 0.53 points and closed at 168.08, the Sensitive index is at 454.02 after gaining 1.68 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 27.53 crores. The units of Sunrise First Mutual Fund (SFMF) traded the most.

More than a dozen companies have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Prabhu Life Insurance Limited (PLI) lost the most 3.46%.

Six sectors gained today while six others closed red. While Trading gained the most 4.51%, Hotels lost the most 0.99%.
