NEPSE gains 8.27 points and closes at 1,964.02; Lowest Turnover of the week on the last trading day

The NEPSE index gained 8.27 points and closed at 1,964.02 today.

The index opened at 1,954.60. Total volatility of 35.2 points was observed, with the highest point being 1,974.12 and the lowest being 1,938.92.

9,883,197 shares traded hands via 39,410 transactions. Trading of 204 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.14 Arba.

The float index gained 0.27 points and closed at 132.96 while the Sensitive index is at 374.02 after gaining 2.32 points.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 37.32 crores. The shares of Global IME Bank Limited Promoter Share (GBIMEP) traded the most today.

The top three gainers in the highest gainers list below hit a 10% positive circuit today (technically).


Meanwhile, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) lost the most 9.87%, followed by Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited (RHPL) which lost 8.61%.

Development Banks and Hydropower lost today, with Hydropower losing the most 4.13% between them. Meanwhile, Manufacturing and Products gained the most 2.67%.
