NEPSE Gains 7.9 Points and Closes at 2,765.43; Manushi Laghubitta (MLBS) Gains 10% and Hits Positive Circuit Breaker

The NEPSE index closed at 2,765.43 today after gaining 7.9 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 11.60 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,758.98 and did not trade lower. While it went as high as 2,777.86, it ultimately closed at 2,765.43.
A total of 7,565,510 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.929 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.357 Arba. 225 scrips traded hands via 51,526 transactions.
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 34.41 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 740 per share. The units of Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1) traded the most.
Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) gained 10%, thereby hitting the positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Everest Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (EICPO) lost the most 4.14%.
Five sectors lost and all others closed green. Finance lost the most 0.88%. Hotels And Tourism gained the most 4.51%.
