NEPSE Gains 69.22 With Rise in Turnover, All Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,784.57 today after gaining 69.22 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained 26.44 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,720.59 and made the intraday low at 2,717.92. It then closed at the intraday high of 2,784.57.

A total of 10,093,221 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 5.521 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.734 Arba. 227 scrips traded hands via 69,200 transactions.

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 37.26 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 823 per share. The shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) traded the most.

A total of eight scrips have technically gained 10%, thereby hitting the positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (VLBS) lost the most 2.37%.

All sectors gained today. "Others" gained the most 5.95%.
