NEPSE Gains 60.56 Points and Closes at 2,571.66; All Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 2,571.66 today after gaining 60.56 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 77.33 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,522.20 and did not trade anywhere lower than that. While it went as high as 2,589.46, it ultimately closed at 2,571.66.

A total of 6,101,414 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 2.679 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 3.783 Arba. 217 scrips traded hands via 34,644 transactions.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.48 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,460 per share. The units of Citizens Mutual Fund - 2 (CMF2) traded the most.

A total of five scrips have technically hit the 10% positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Everest Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (EICPO) lost the most 4.96%.

All sectors closed green today. Finance gained the most 5.81%. Yesterday, it had lost 5.09%.
