NEPSE Closes 5.11 Points Higher From Yesterday's Closing; Finance Sector Loses the Most

The NEPSE index gained 5.11 points today and closed at 2,875.49. The index opened at 2,898.42 and made the intraday high at 2,900.89. However, it only lost after that, going as low as 2,861.58. Nonetheless, it ultimately closed at 2,875.49.

19,282,815 shares traded hands via 81,300 transactions. The trading of 219 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.72 Arba.

While the float index gained 0.24 points and closed at 198.96, the Sensitive index is at 533.57 after gaining 4.17 points.

Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 66.94 crores.

Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SABSL) gained the most 8.17%. Meanwhile, Best Finance Company Limited (BFC) has lost the most 5.48%.

6 sectors gained and all others closed red today. While Finance lost the most 2.59%, Microfinance gained the most 2.19%.
