NEPSE gains 4.22 points; Three companies hit 10% positive circuit while "NRIC" witnesses massive daily turnover of Rs. 55.01 crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,652.80 points today, gaining 4.22 points from yesterday's close. The index opened at 1,648.75 in the morning. Total volatility of 12.57 points was witnessed during market hours today, with the highest being 1,661.32 and the lowest being the market-open itself.

10,035,313 shares traded hands via 41,049 transactions. 195 scrips traded to produce a total daily turnover of a little over Rs. 3.69 Arba.

The Float index lost 0.17 points and closed at 114.54 while the Sensitive index is at 325.33 after losing 0.61 points.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 55.01 crores. Its shares also traded the most today.

Three companies hit a 10% positive circuit today. They are Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL), Mithila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBBL), and Sanima General Insurance Limited (SGI).

Meanwhile, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) lost the most 4.86%.

Six sectors lost today and six others gained. Hydropower lost the most 1.04% while Trading gained the most 4.43%.
