NEPSE Gains 4.06 Points and Closes at 3,085.07; Two Companies Hit Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 3,085.07 today after gaining 4.06 points from yesterday's close. The index opened at 3,087.91 and immediately made the intraday high at 3,100.80. While it went as low as 3,079.48, it ultimately closed at 3,085.07.
A total of 21,894,209 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 10.98 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's figure of Rs. 12.103 Arba. 226 scrips traded hands via 105,579 transactions.
Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 37.75 crore closing at a market price of Rs. 584 per share. The units of NIC ASIA Balanced Fund (NICBF) traded the most.
Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) and Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) have gained 10% and technically hit the positive circuit breaker. On the other side of things, Nepal Hydro Developer Limited (NHDL) lost the most 5.33%.
