NEPSE Gains 40.40 Points; All Sectors Close Green; Is this Trend Reversal or Irrationality?

The NEPSE index gained 40.40 points today and closed at 2,432.14. The index opened at 2,399.21 and made an intraday low at 2,390.42. The intraday-close itself is the intraday-high.

8,626,667 shares traded hands via 44,697 transactions. The trading of 212 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 3.37 Arba.

While the float index gained 2.54 points and closed at 167.38, the Sensitive index is at 438.60 after gaining 8.11 points.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 20.04 crores. The units of Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) traded the most.

The six highest gainers have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) lost the most 8.95%.

All the sectors have gained today. Hotels and Tourism gained the most 4.26%.
