Nepse gains 4.65 points

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (Nepse) gained 4.65 points or 0.50 percent to close at 928.99 level today.
Following today’s healthy growth, the market index recovered from past two days’ decline of 0.35 point and 1.16 points.
Owing to the good buying pressure in most of the listed companies, the local bourse floated on green zone throughout the day. In addition, the latter improvement of demand in banking scrips attributed further in market growth.
Banking sector, which was suffering loss in initial hour, came to sustain gain of 2.47 points by the end of the day. Similarly, Development and Finance inclined by 1.22 points and 2.34 points.
Among remaining sub-groups, Hotels, Hydro and Insurance rallied by double digits figures of 10.21 points, 12.56 points and 73.15 points respectively. While, Others remained intact at 722.53 level.
As for the market turnover, altogether 504,949 units share were traded through 2,089 transactions worth Rs 248.74 million.
