NEPSE Loses 32.39 Points and Closes at 2,769.13; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,769.13 today after losing 32.39 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained 16.95 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,806.13 and made the intraday high at 2,808.71. While it went as low as 2,760.79, it ultimately closed at 2,769.13.

A total of 9,862,940 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 6.271 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 7.379 Arba. 224 scrips traded hands via 70,037 transactions.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 60.44 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,430 per share. The shares of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) traded the most.

A total of two scrips have technically gained 10%, thereby hitting the positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) lost the most 5.03%.

All sectors lost today. Hydropower lost the most 2.84%.
