NEPSE gains 30.33 points and closes at 1,965.96; Total turnover at Rs. 6.69 Arba

With a day of intense swing trading, the NEPSE index ultimately gained 30.33 points and closed at 1,965.96 today.
The index opened at 1,919.05 and fell to make the intraday low at 1,874.07. However, the market gained bullish momentum and rose aggressively, ultimately making an intraday high at 1,977.42.
12,382,482 shares traded hands via 64,938 transactions. Trading of 202 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 6.69 Arba. While the float index gained 2 points and closed at 134.06, the Sensitive index is at 376.56 after gaining 7.01 points.
Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 72.88 crores. The shares of NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) traded the most. Interestingly, NICA gained 70 points and hit the 10% positive circuit. It is the only stock to do so today.
Meanwhile, Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) lost the most 9.87%.
Three sectors lost while all others closed green. While Trading lost the most 1.93%, Manufacturing and Products gained the most 3.04%.
