NEPSE GAINS 3.65 POINTS

After days of correction, the secondary market of Nepal finally bounced back today with a gain of 3.65 points to settle at 1066.09 level.
The buying spree in Others, Insurance and Hydro sectors’ shares mainly propelled the Nepse index to green terrain today.
The incline in Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) by Rs 6 propelled the Others sector by 7.05 points today.
Likewise, Insurance sector posted increase of 42.63 points following increment in the price of Nepal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (NLIC), NLG Insurance Company Ltd. (NLG), Life Insurance Co. Nepal (LICN), Premier Insurance co. Ltd. (PIC), Lumbini General Insurance (LGIL) and other seven scrips.
Similarly, Hydro inclined by 56.8 points, which was mainly attributed by Rs 68 climb in Chilime Hydro power Co. and also surge in Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd. (SHPC ) and Butwal Power Co. Ltd. (BPCL) price later helped to gain further height.
Banking and Hotels were other two sectors to settle on green terrain with gain of 0.81 point and 3.43 points respectively.
As for remaining sub-groups, Development suffered loss of 1.71 points, Finance dropped by 3.55 points and Manufacturing decreased by 15.16 points.
All in all, the scrips of only 153 companies were traded, out of which 75 scrips gained, 13 remained intact and 65 scrips lost.
The best performer for the day was, Siddhartha Development Bank Limited (SDBL), closed at Rs 254, with gain of Rs 23 or 9.96 percent. Whereas, Kaski Finance Limited (KAFIL), closed at Rs 281, was the worst performer today with Rs 24 or 7.87 percent loss.
Chilime Hydro power Co., closed at Rs 2685, had the highest turnover among the traded shares today. Altogether, 15,395 units share of CHCL were traded through 113 transactions worth Rs 41,112,247.
The broker with the highest standalone dealing of the CHCL was Broker No 44 (Dynamic Money Managers Securities Pvt.Ltd) with 12.90 percent totaling 3,964 share units amounting Rs 10,610,883 via 15 transactions, which include two matching transactions tallying 1,126 units worth Rs 3,019,638.
The market turnover today stood at Rs 568,257,208, with total number of shares traded at 1,393,201 units which were traded through 4,427 transactions. The market capitalization at the end of the day stood at Rs 1,088,693.13 Millions
