NEPSE Gains 27.72 Points to Settle at 2,068.42 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 2.057 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,068.42 today after gaining 27.72 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 1.36%. The index had lost 0.36 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,041.71 which is also the intraday low. Then, the index went intraday high at 2,072.37 and ultimately closed at 2,068.42.
220 scrips traded hands via 41,571 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,101,290 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.057 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lot higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.405 Arba.
Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.43 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 632 per share. The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) traded the most.
Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) and Upper Solu Hydro Electric Company Limited (USHEC) gained the highest 10% each and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) lost the highest 3.80% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Development Bank" gained the highest 3.17% while "Hotels And Tourism" gained the least 0.28%.
