NEPSE Gains 27.51 Points and Closes at 2,584.52; Two Companies Hit 10% Positive Circuit Breaker

The NEPSE index closed at 2,584.52 today after gaining 27.51 points from last Thursday closing. The index had lost 14.7 points that day.

The index opened at 2,557 and created the intraday low at 2,546.39. However, the index eventually rose to the intraday high of 2,587.35. It then closed very near the intraday high, i.e. at 2,584.52.

A total of 5,818,025 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 2.773 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last Thursday's turnover of Rs. 2.635 Arba. 225 scrips traded hands via 38,147 transactions.

ICFC Finance Limited (ICFC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 15.91 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 709 per share. The units of Global IME Samunnat Scheme 1 (GIMES1) traded the most.

Best Finance Company Limited (BFC) and Ridi Hydropower Development Company Limited (RHPC) hit the 10% positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Mero Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MERO) lost the most 10%.

Only "Trading" lost a minimal 1.07%. Among other sectors that gained, "Finance" gained the most 4.11%.
