NEPSE Gains 26.44 Points and Closes at 2,715.35, Intraday Turnover At Rs. 4.734 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,715.35 today after gaining 26.44 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 1.38 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,688.06 and made the intraday low at 2,687.48. While it went as high as 2,738.32, it ultimately closed at 2,715.35.

A total of 8,636,636 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 4.734 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.096 Arba. 228 scrips traded hands via 59,316 transactions.

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 35.46 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 750 per share. The shares of Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL) traded the most.

A total of three scrips have technically gained 10%, thereby hitting the positive circuit breaker. Meanwhile, Everest Insurance Company Limited Promoter Share (EICPO) lost the most 4.88%.

All sectors gained today. "Development Bank" gained the most 2.63%.
