NEPSE Gains 23.97 Points and Closes at 2,825.10; Finance Sector Gains the Most 3.09%

The NEPSE index gained 23.97 points today and closed at 2,825.10. The index opened at 2,815.28 and made the intraday low at 2,793.43. While it went as high as 2,832.54, it ultimately closed at 2,825.10.

13,143,240 shares traded hands via 51,868 transactions. The trading of 223 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 4.81 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.585 Arba.

The float index is at 195.41 after gaining 2.1 points and the Sensitive index is at 529.66 after gaining 4.41 points.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 21.18 crores.

Guheswori Merchant Banking & Finance Limited (GMFIL) gained the most 9.93% while Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) lost the most 3.61%.

Two sectors lost and all others closed green today. While Trading and the "Others" sector both lost 0.55%, the Finance sector gained the most 3.09%.
