NEPSE Gains 1.89 Points and Closes at 2,735, Intraday Turnover at Rs. 4.217 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,735.00 today after gaining 1.89 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 32.31 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,737.09 and made the intraday low at 2,694.62. While it went as high as 2,742.35, it ultimately closed at 2,735.

A total of 7,445,227 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 4.217 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.165 Arba. 227 scrips traded hands via 54,703 transactions.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 26.15 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,465 per share. The shares of Api Power Company Limited (API) traded the most.

Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) gained the most 9.47%. Meanwhile, Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) lost the most 2.55%.

Three sectors lost while ten others closed green. "Trading" lost the most 1.28% and "Finance" gained the most 1.31%.
