NEPSE Gains 18.81 Points and Closes at 2,286.54; Eight Out of Ten Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index gained 18.81 points and closed at 2,286.54. The index opened at 2,279.04 and made an intraday low at 2,277.26. The index then made an intraday high at 2,296.17 and ultimately closed at 2,286.54.

13,289,849 shares traded hands via 50,950 transactions. The trading of 207 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.91 Arba. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 4.98 Arba. While the float index gained 1.1 points and closed at 156.51, the Sensitive index is at 435.25 after gaining 1.97 points.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 26.55 crores. The units of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-2 (SIGS2) traded the most today.

A total of 8 companies have technically hit a 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Multipurpose Finance Company Limited (MPFL) lost the most 4.71%.

Banking and Hotels lost today, with Hotels losing the most 0.28%. Among all other sectors that gained, Finance gained the most 4.75%.
