NEPSE Gains 16.34 Points and Closes at 2,871.03; Finance Gains the Most 4.03%

The NEPSE index gained 16.34 points today and closed at 2,871.03. The index opened at 2,867.15 and immediately made the intraday low at 2,847.34. While it went as high as 2,884.09, it ultimately closed at 2,871.03.

12,348,389 shares traded hands via 53,139 transactions. The trading of 223 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.546 Arba. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 9.98 Arba.

The float index is at 199.35 after gaining 1.28 points and the Sensitive index is at 539.51 after gaining 4.74 points.

Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 45.47 crores.

Central Finance Limited (CFCL) gained the most 6.98% and Sanima Large Cap Fund (SLCF) lost the most 3.08%.

Only the Life Insurance sector lost a minimal 0.39% today. Among all other sectors that gained, Finance gained the most 4.03%.
