NEPSE Gains 16.32 Points And Creates New All-Time High at 3,178.91

The NEPSE index closed at 3,178.91 today after gaining 16.32 points from the all-time high created yesterday. Thus, this is the highest index-closing in the history of Nepal's capital market.

The index opened at 3,172.75 and made the intraday low at 3,167.79. While it went as high as 3,188.93, it ultimately closed at 3,178.91.

A total of 36,608,461 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 17.513 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's figure of Rs. 15.455 Arba. 225 scrips traded hands via 154,660 transactions.

Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited (UPPER) had the highest turnover of Rs. 62.79 crore closing at a market price of Rs. 873 per share. The units of NIBL Pragati Fund (NIBLPF) traded the most.

A total of 7 scrips have technically gained 10% today, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a scrip. On the other side of things, Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL) lost the most 3.99%.
