NEPSE Gains 16.04 Points and Closes at 2,650.70 With Intraday Turnover of Rs. 2.518 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,650.70 today after gaining 16.04 points from last trading day's closing. The index had gained 18.07 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,634.42 today and did not trade lower. While it went as high as 2,658.06, it ultimately closed at 2,650.70.

235 scrips traded hands via 36,772 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,329,993 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.518 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 2.592 Arba.

Prabhu Insurance Company Ltd. Promoter (PRINPO) had the highest turnover of Rs. 15.33 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 451 per share. Its shares were also traded the most.

Emerging Nepal Limited (ENL) has gained the highest 9.99% and closed at Rs. 628.80. On the other side of things, the 8.5% Sanima Debenture 2087 (SBD87) lost the highest 2.86%.

Among the thirteen sector indices, only three have lost today. While "Hydropower" lost the highest 0.42%, "Life Insurance" gained the highest 1.87%.
