NEPSE Gains 15.8 Points and Closes at 2,648; Six Highest Gainers Hit Positive Circuit Breakers

The NEPSE index gained 15.8 points and closed at 2,648.00 today. The index opened at 2,647.11. Intraday volatility of 40.39 points was seen today with the highest point being 2,650.14 and the lowest being 2,609.75.

13,032,823 shares traded hands via 75,108 transactions. The trading of 214 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 5.91 Arba, which is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.77 Arba.

While the float index gained 1.1 points and closed at 183.03, the Sensitive index is at 476.60 after gaining 3.21 points.

Nepal Credit & Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 62.27 crores. Its shares also traded the most.

The six highest gainers have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) lost the most 3.44%.

Only two sectors lost today while all others closed green. Hotels and Tourism lost the most 1.45% and Development Bank gained the most 1.33%.
