NEPSE Gains 15.69 Points and Closes at 2,851.86; NIFRA Stands Out With Incredible Intraday Performance

The NEPSE index closed at 2,851.86 today after gaining 15.69 points from yesterday's closing. This is a minimal gain of 0.55% on the index. The index had lost 40.57 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,834.26 today and made the intraday low at 2,822.88. While it went as high as 2,853.42, it ultimately closed at 2,851.86.

224 scrips traded hands via 66,113 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 9,512,580 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 5.022 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.836 Arba.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 49.34 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 412 per share. Its shares were also traded the most. NIFRA has also gained the highest 8.42%.

Meanwhile, Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) has lost the highest 4.57%.

Three sector indices closed red while all others have closed green. "Banking" lost the highest 0.21%. Meanwhile, "Investment" gained the highest 3.06%.
