NEPSE gains 13.94 points in the second-last day before Dashain Holidays; Index green for three consecutive days now

The NEPSE index gained 13.94 points from yesterday's close and ultimately closed at 1,597.71. The market-close itself is the intraday high today.
5,509,448 shares exchanged hands via 22,482 transactions. The trading of 192 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs. 1.63 Arba.
The float index gained 1.17 points and closed at 111.48 while the Sensitive index is at 316.65 after gaining 3.1 points.
NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 24.29 crores. This is likely because NICA proposed a 19% bonus shares and a 1% cash dividend for fiscal year 2076/77 yesterday. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.
General Insurance Company Nepal Limited (GIC) technically hit a 10% positive circuit.
On the other hand, Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) lost the most 5.05%.
Eight sectors gained and four other lost today. While Hydropower lost the most 1.01%, Trading gained the most 2.19%.
