NEPSE gains 10.59 points on the last trading day of this week

NEPSE climbed 10.59 points or 1.21 percent to close at 887.8 level compared to yesterday’s 877.21 mark index.
News about submission of the draft of constitution of the country by the political parties till the deadline of January 22 has boosted the investors’ confidence up to some extent.
NEPSE has managed to land in green on the last trading day of this week as the market will remain closed on Thursday (December 25) due to Christmas.
Participation of investors in market surged today, as the total turnover has increased by more than Rs 17 million than yesterday’s total of Rs 160.28 million. Altogether 430,608 unit shares of 132 companies were traded via 2,308 transactions worth Rs 177.68 million.

Among the sub-indices, Banking went up by 14.22 points or 1.84 percent attributed by increase in share price of Everest Bank by Rs 56 and Nabil by Rs 56.
Rise in share price of Chilime Hydro by Rs 35 and National LifeInsu. Co. by Rs 48 led the HydroPower and Insurance sector surge by double digit of 32.26 points and 32.43 points respectively.
Similarly Development and Others raised by 4.52 points and 1.17 point respectively.
On the contrary, Hotels and Finance plunged 6.66 points and 2.33 points respectively.
The share price of companies like Swabalambam Bikas, Nirdhan Utthan, Subechha Bikas, Prime Life Insurance and Nepal Bank limited heightened maximum today.
Whereas Multipurpose Finance, Siddhartha Finance, Gandaki Bikas, Nilgiri Bikas and Neco Insurance stood at top losers of the day.
