NEPSE Gains 0.27% While Volume Stood at Rs. 1.08 Arba; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,894.76 points, as the index experienced a gain of 5.16 points or 0.27% compared to the previous day's closing. The index lost 19.06 points on yesterday.
The trading started with the index opening at 1,890.04 hitting an intraday low of 1,884.40, whereas the intraday high was 1,905.05.
During today's trading, there were 286 different stocks traded in 55,197 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 3,733,524 units with a total turnover of Rs. 1.08 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 28.90 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.16 Kharba.
Mandu Hydropower Limited (MANDU) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 4.80 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 410.5.
Similarly, five companies showed the highest gain today. City Hotels, Mandu Hydropower, and Hathway Investment hit the positive circuit for the day.
On the flip side, Sanima GIC Insurance Limited (SGIC) showed the highest loss at 4.21%.
In terms of sector indices, three sectors closed red with Trading Index and Manufacturing And Processing recording the most loss with 0.13% negative change. Meanwhile, the "Hotels And Tourism Index" gained the highest 1.80%.
