NEPSE Gains 0.22% to Close at 1,870.63; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 82.96 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,870.63 today after gaining 4.15 points from last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.22%. The index had gained 11.36 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,866.54 and made intraday high at 1,878.16. While it went as low as 1,860.85, it ultimately closed at 1,870.63.
222 scrips traded hands via 17,145 transactions. A total of 2,698,347 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 82.96 Crores in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 69.17 Crores.
Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.4 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 796 per share. The shares of Progressive Finance Limited Promoter Share (PROFLP) traded the most.
Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AVYAN) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, CITIZENS MUTUAL FUND 2 (CMF2) lost the highest 4.45% today.
Only one sector closed red, "HydroPower" lost 0.12% while "Manu.& Pro." gained the highest 1.53%.
