Nepse gains 16.04 points after a roller coaster ride; Index at all time high; 6 companies hit positive circuit

The NEPSE index gained 16.04 points today and closed at 2,440.87. This is the highest closing-ever in the history of NEPSE. The index has been breaking records and creating new highs for a long, and there seems to be no stopping.

The index opened at 2,447.01 today. Although the index went as high as 2,456.22, it ultimately closed at 2,440.87.

19,285,504 shares traded hands via 72,773 transactions. The trading of 208 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 8.90 Arba. While the float index gained 1.11 points and closed at 166.49.38, the Sensitive index is at 451.82 after losing 0.24 points.

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 60.37 crores. The shares of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) traded the most.

A total of 6 companies have technically hit a 10% positive circuit today.

Meanwhile, Shree Investment Finance Company Limited (SIFC) lost the most 6.98%.

Trading Sector gained the most with 3.14% increment whereas Microfinance Sector lost the most with 1.21% decline today.
