NEPSE Falls by 7.46 Points in Two Days, Settles Today at 2,019.73 Level; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 1.387 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,019.73 today after losing 3.81 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.19%. The index lost 3.65 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,024.82 and made the intraday low at 2,013.25. While it went as high as 2,033.70 and ultimately closed at 2,019.73.
262 scrips traded hands via 28,684 transactions. A total of 3,946,024 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.387 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.893 Arba.
Universal Power Company Limited (UPCL) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.55 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 263 per share.
Adhikhola Laghubitta (AKBSL), Adarsha Laghubitta (ADLB), and Khaptad Laghubitta (KLBS) gained the highest 10% each and hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Premier Insurance Company (Nepal) Limited (PIC) lost the highest 3.85% today.
Four sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" lost the highest 0.97% each while "Investment" gained the highest 1.03% today.
