NEPSE Falls by 51.48 Points in Two Days, Settles Today at 1,951.21 Level; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 1.162 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,951.21 today after losing 24.68 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 1.25%. The index lost 26.80 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 1,975.43 and it made an intraday high at 1,977.52. While it went as low as 1,944.42 and ultimately closed at 1,951.21.

256 scrips traded hands via 26,850 transactions. A total of 3,369,136 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.162 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.666 Arba.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.24 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 777 per share. The shares of AHPC traded the most.

Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit positive for the day.

Conversely, Khaptad Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBS) lost the highest 7.62% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Life Insurance" lost the highest 1.66% while "Hotel And Tourism" lost the least 0.81% today.
