NEPSE Falls Back To 1800 Levels After Double Digit Loss of 19.06 Points: All Sector Closed Red

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 1,889.59 points, as the index experienced loss of 19.06 points or 0.99% compared to the previous day's closing. The index lost 12.58 points on yesterday.

The trading started with the index opening at 1,908.29 hitting an intraday low of 1,885.37, whereas the intraday high was 1,913.58.

During today's trading, there were 282 different stocks traded in 44,069 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 4,287,424 units with a total turnover of Rs. 1.28 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 28.82 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.13 Kharba.

Sanima GIC Insurance Limited (SGIC) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 20.37 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 499.

Similarly, Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited (ULHC) showed the highest gain of 5.86%, followed by Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ILBS) with a gain of 4.19%.

On the flip side, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) showed the highest loss at 7.64%.

In terms of sector indices, all sector indices closed red. "HydroPower Index" lost the highest 1.79% while "Manufacturing And Processing" lost the least 0.12% today.
