NEPSE Falls 3.72 Points From All-Time High

The NEPSE index lost a minimal 3.72 points today and closed at 3,022.10. The index had closed at the all-time high of 3,025.83 yesterday. The index opened at 3,061.81 and only lost after that. While the index went as low as 3,013.77, it ultimately closed at 3,022.10.
30,948,853 shares traded hands via 164,790 transactions. The trading of 226 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 16.52 Arba.
While the float index lost 1.27 points and closed at 208.95, the Sensitive index is at 550.26 after gaining 0.25 points.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 76.12 crores.
Three companies, all of which are hydropower companies, have technically closed at the upper limit of 10% intraday gain today.
On the other side of things, Chhyangdi Hydropower Company Limited (CHL) lost the most 9.49%.
Five sectors gained today while all others closed red. While the "Others" sector gained the most 3.99%, Development Bank lost the most 4.42%.
